At 1:11, 2:22, 3:33, 4:44, 5:55, 11:11 and 12:12 the whole sky turns gold for one minute and the line under the time changes to the message of that number — then the sky settles back. Nothing is sent anywhere: the time is your own device’s, and the page keeps no record of you.
A full screen clock for studying
On a laptop, press full screen and the clock takes the whole display — the study-desk setup this page is built for. Keep screen on asks the browser not to dim the display while the page is open, and the button appears only where the browser can do it. Leave the tab, and the browser lets the screen sleep again — come back, and the clock asks for it once more.
Safari on iPhone does not let a page go full screen, so that button is not shown there; keep screen on still works, and the clock fits the width of the phone.
Which minutes turn gold
The seven above are the minutes the Angel Clock app catches on a 12-hour clock, each of them twice a day — fourteen gold minutes. Switch to 24-hour and the set becomes the app’s other one: thirteen minutes, each once a day. It adds 13:13, 15:15, 17:17, 21:21 and 22:22, which a 12-hour face cannot show at all, and 10:10, which it can show but the app does not wait for there. Both lists are read from the app’s own code, and angel time explains why there are two.
Between them, the line under the time carries today’s angel number and its word — the same thing the app’s widget shows all day.

Is there an aesthetic clock online with seconds?
Yes — this one: press seconds under the time. Angel Clock leaves seconds off by default because the app itself shows minutes: the moment it waits for is a minute long, not a second.
Why is it on 12-hour when my iPhone is set to 24-hour?
Because Safari doesn’t pass the iPhone’s 24-Hour Time switch to web pages, so Angel Clock starts in the format of your phone’s language and region — 12-hour for US English, 24-hour for British English, French or German. 24-hour under the time switches it in place; to keep it that way, bookmark angelclock.com/clock?h=24.
Why did the sky turn gold?
Because the clock reached an angel minute — 11:11, 4:44 and the rest. Angel Clock turns the sky gold for exactly that minute and shows the number’s message under the time; a minute later the sky goes back to the usual gold-hour light.
Does this clock track me?
No. Angel Clock reads the time from your own device, keeps no cookies and loads nothing from other sites; the page is allowed to talk only to angelclock.com, and it never needs to.
